Although it is fiction horror of the moment, the film “Annabelle” is inspired by a rag doll that existed and was part of a litter of “Raggedy Ann Doll” which was sold in the US in the 60s and 70s.

Donna, the owner of the cursed doll that inspired the spin off of “The spell,” we will gave in 1970, when he was 19. Her mother did to Donna, who studied nursing, did not feel so alone.

But Donna has started to see strange things, such as the doll appeared in other places where she had left it, or positions adopted legs crossed or open arms

The woman thought she was hallucinating until it started to look worse: at home notes saying “Help us” or “Help Lou” began to appear.

The straw that broke the camel was the doll with blood in his mouth. There the student and his flatmate called for a medium who told them that the spirit of a girl of seven years called Annabelle Higgins had possessed doll.

The medium did not end the curse: a friend named Lou one day he fell asleep in the house of students and could not wake up. He said he saw the doll hanging him.

Donna then shelved the medium, and came to the Church, which contacted Ed and Lorrane Warren, an expert in paranormal phenomena marriage. The couple said it was not a girl of seven years what was inside of the wrist, but a demon. A priest blessed the house, the marriage took Donna’s wrist and began to live quieter.

The real doll Annabelle is now in the Hidden Museum and Lorrane Ed Warren, where all kinds of cursed objects are exposed.

The doll is enclosed in a wooden box, sealed with a glass and a sign of danger for visitors. Twice a month, just in case, it is poured holy water.
