Google Maps shows how Dubai has changed in the last 30 years

Dubai is one of the places that has changed the most in the last decades. Shrouded in the power of ‘petrodollars’, this emirate city now has impressive buildings, impressive skyscrapers and attractive shopping centers that are a focus of attention to encourage tourism. Google Maps, through a video on YouTube, shows part of that change.

From being a land dominated by desert sands alone, it is now an area plagued by constructions around the Persian Gulf. Even today, it has up to two artificial islands, which in the late 1980s did not exist.

Dubai es uno de los lugares que más ha cambiado en las últimas décadas. Envuelta en el poder de los "petrodólares", esta ciudad emirato ahora tiene edificios impresionantes, impresionantes rascacielos y atractivos centros comerciales que son un foco de atención para fomentar el turismo.
