The power that enclosed the lightning that fell on a tourist in Brazil
Video shows the exact moment when a tourist is struck by lightning at Praia do Sonho, in Itanhaém, on the coast of São Paulo.
Taline Campos, 25, had a cardiac arrest and was hospitalized in critical condition.
Taline walks quietly by the edge of the sea, even after the storm has formed. At one point she is struck by lightning and falls to the ground. Another person standing next to her was not injured.
Like Taline, other residents and tourists also chose not to shelter during the storm. In the video, it is possible to identify at least ten people, including children, within ten meters of the young woman, who walked alone at the time of the accident.
