Train coils a car and driver blames the GPS
A vehicle fell by mistake on the rails of a train. His driver could do little to get him out of there. Minutes later the presence of a railroad was noticed. The impact was inevitable.
The accident occurred the night of this last Sunday in the city of Ashland, state of Virginia (USA). The driver of the car had made the mistake of getting on the train rails just as he was trying to turn a corner. The vehicle ended up broken and unable to move. The police and some courses approached the place to help him.
Blame the GPS. According to local media reports, the driver blamed the GPS navigator for having performed this maneuver, since he had indicated that he should double at that time. The authorities advised the train line that it would circulate around the place to stop, but it was in vain.
The driver had already got out of the car and so there were no victims to mourn. Your vehicle was towed the next day. Neighbors in the area point out that similar accidents have already occurred in that area, many of them also caused by the confusion caused by some cartographic applications.
